This site will focus on my journey to self sufficiency and emergency preparedness. We live in a dangerous world. We are facing all kinds of threats from within and outside of our borders. As the old saying goes, a good offense is the best defense.

This site will examine strategies and plans for being prepared. Even if the $#!+ never hits the fan, so to speak, being ready for it is never a bad thing.

This site is divided into several categories of preparation: Financial, Medical, Natural Disaster, and SHTF (Sh*t Hits The Fan). I will be adding new information in each of these as I continue this journey of getting ready for whatever may happen in the future and trying to be ready for it.
